Top-Ranked Ohio State Buckeyes Defeat the Minnesota Golden Gophers
The Minnesota Golden Gophers suffered a disappointing defeat from the Ohio State Buckeyes. With this loss, the Gophers drops their last two games under their interim coach, Tracy Claeys. The Ohio State Buckeyes is currently the No. 1 collegiate football team in NCAA. The score was 28-14.
The Gophers managed to deliver two fourth-quarter touchdowns but the Buckeyes were able to hold on to their lead and seal the victory. In three quarters, Minnesota was able to manage only 110 yards before getting two touch down passes from Mitch Leidner, with only two minutes and ten seconds left on the clock.
Ohio State’s Ezekiel Elliott ran for 114 yards. This is his 14th straight game that had him run at least a hundred yards. While Vonn Bell was able to return a 16-yard interception towards a touchdown that gave the Buckeyes a 21-0 lead over the Gophers.
