Daniel Cormier Wants to Get a Rematch Against Jon Jones

Former Light Heavyweight Champion, Jon Jones’, has been spared from jail, and is set to make a return to the UFC. Jones is the only fighter to ever put a defeat on Cormier’s record. It was a Light Heavyweight championship fight last January, in UFC 182. When asked about the potential rematch with Jones, Cormier showed interest and even mentioned that he is ready to go (if Jones is ready to go). He has expressed his desire for a rematch against Jon Jones which he thinks is a fight that fans want to see and he believes that it will be the biggest fight the UFC could put together.

If Cormier-Jones II is bound to happen, it will surely be a treat. It will also be a chance for Cormier to prove his doubters wrong. It will be a chance for him to show to everyone that he is a true and legit champion. That being said, only time will tell. Another fighter may be next in line for a title shot. And that is Ryan Bader, who is currently enjoying a 5-fight winning streak, with his most recent win being against a former Light Heavyweight champion and top contender, Rashad Evans.
